Create a collage
Here's a fabulous, fun activity for you to do on your own or with a friend - make your own collage. This is a totally unique piece of artwork made by you. You can express what you like, who your family and friends are, places you've enjoyed visiting, food you like to eat, books you've read, fashion, jewellery - whatever YOU like. It's your collage, so let yourself go wild. To make it a little more interesting, you could even choose a colour theme - so all the pics are say red, or green.......
This is what you need to collect -
- Magazines pictures - cut out photos, ads etc. that you like
- Photos, letters and awards that you've received - ask mum and dad if it's okay to use these first
- Junk mail advertising for pictures of food, fashion etc.
- Sticky tape or glue
- Scissors
- Large flat piece of cardboard or paper - A4 or A5 size. You can use a cereal box or other large box because your going to cover it in pictures anyway.
- Coloured pens or textas
Lay your paper/cardboard on a table and carefully lay out what you've collected onto the surface until your happy with the design. Using glue, stick down each piece carefully, making sure the sides are stuck down well.
Here's a few collages sent in. One is of a travelling holiday and the other is of friends and family. You can send in your collage and have it posted on the website. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it it to us as a pdf!
